Regulatory element for soccer practice. They are footwear characterized by having bumps on the sole, called studs, which provide better grip to the ground, and thus avoid slipping and running at a higher speed. The material with which it is traditionally made is leather, although synthetic materials that are lighter than leather have now begun to be used. Depending on the terrain on which it is used, the sole will have one type of stud or another. The studs can be made of rubber for dirt or hard fields, and aluminum for wet or slippery fields such as grass; currently other synthetic materials are also used.
